Analyst - Credit Risk Management
Summary:
The successful candidate will work in the Energy Transfer Credit Risk Management group reporting to the Senior Manager – Credit Risk Management. The Credit/Business Analyst will be involved in daily credit activities, special projects as required and communication with counterparties and internal legal, commercial and accounting groups. The Credit/Business Analyst must communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment on matters relating to credit risk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements using credit scoring model and perform credit evaluations to determine appropriate credit limits.
- Analyze entity structure to assess both individual counterparty and enterprise credit risk.
- Help identify and mitigate credit risk in all of Energy Transfer’s operations.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
- Assist in the development and maintaining comprehensive reports and system(s).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business and credit processes and requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Maintain credit system database accurately and timely.
- Provide information for miscellaneous reports on an ad hoc basis.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Strong verbal and written skills necessary
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to think proactively, multi-task, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
Energy Industry experience preferred, but not required.
Working Conditions:

1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Occasional travel and/or overnight travel may be required.
3. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
