Summary:
Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States, with a strategic footprint in all of the major domestic production basins. ET is a publicly traded limited partnership with core operations that include complementary natural gas midstream, intrastate and interstate transportation and storage assets; crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGL) and refined product transportation and terminalling assets; NGL fractionation; and various acquisition and marketing assets. ET also owns Lake Charles LNG Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for designing trainings in coordination with subject matter experts. The person will be part of the training initiative projects and be part of the learning management system administration. This person will be responsible for the regulatory department processes, analytics of training information and assist with the development of improved information delivery methods. This department supports the Partnership’s key objectives with the highest standards of conduct without compromise. Honesty, integrity and accountability are essential to our Partnership’s success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design Compliance trainings for partnership departments
- Work with departments to create online trainings, department SME led trainings, lunch-n-learns, etc.
- Design and work with SMEs for area specific trainings
- Compliance annual review of trainings and scheduling of updates.
- Implementation of annual SME updates to other departments’ trainings including SAP Trainings and consultant trainings
- Design and creation of new Compliance Department and HR trainings (i.e., for regulations, HR Policy Acknowledgements, other Partnership Policy Acknowledgements)
- Testing of LMS system upgrades/changes
- LMS Administration, customer service, service desk tickets
- Other department required work
- Regulatory standards of conduct assigned processes/information updates/review/maintenance
- Analytics of trainings, quiz results and training completions
- Work to continually develop better training reporting tools for Partnership management
- Verify training setups, data reporting and data analytics are correct.
- On-going TFI security issues for systems
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in related business experience. Higher levels require additional experience.
- 2 or more years instructional design experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office products suite.
- Ability to manage workload independently and deliver timely and accurate results.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to direct initiatives and processes.
- Self-motivated individual with a high regard for integrity, and excellent written, grammar and vocabulary skills.
- Quick learner able to multi-task, prioritize work and adapt to a changing fast paced environment.
- Able to handle differing levels of responsibilities, including clerical, if necessary, to accomplish the job
- Ability to quickly learn new software and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years instructional design experience with knowledge and experience in other instructional design skills, such as animation or video adaptation.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline 360
- Experience with SABA LMS
- Experience in data analytics software (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience with WebEx meetings and recordings
- Industry knowledge and experience
- FERC and Texas Railroad Commission agency knowledge
- Ability to read and review Spanish is a plus.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
