Intern- Sales / Customer Acct
Sunoco LP is the largest wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S. One segment of our business is the supply of fuel directly to individual gas station operators and supplying fuel to distributors. The Sunoco Sales and Account Management teams are actively engaged in signing new customers and renewing or extending supply agreements with existing customers.
Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and hard-working Intern -summer program to join our team! The position will support our Sunoco Sales and Account Management team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Customer Accounts organization with the following:
- Reports creation
- Optimization Analysis
- Development of sales training and support materials
- Operational reporting that steers solid decision making
- Assisting with sales lead development to grow customer base
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Currently enrolled in college majoring in business or marketing
- Preferably junior status as of Fall 2025
- General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
- Above average GPA
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong computer and advanced Excel and Word skills preferred
- Must possess a strong willingness to learn
- Willing to travel
- Excellent attention to details.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
