Intern- Intern Investor Relations
Sunoco LP is the largest wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S. One segment of our business is the supply of fuel directly to individual gas station operators and supplying fuel to distributors. The Sunoco Sales and Account Management teams are actively engaged in signing new customers and renewing or extending supply agreements with existing customers.
Summary:
We are looking for motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional interns for our summer program to join our team!
The main objective for each intern is to become familiar with the overall company and its operations while gaining experience in the Investor Relations area.
This is a eleven (11) week program starting in May 2024- Dallas, TX
Responsibilities may include:
• Be a liaison between the Investor Relations Dept and all other facets of the business
• Work with Financial Planning and Analysis and Accounting groups to gather and analyze data
• Assist in drafting news releases and other communications
• Research potential investors
• Perform regular trading and unitholder analysis on SUN and its peers
• Monitor analyst consensus and stay up to date on research and models that the sell side research analysts publish on SUN
• Prepare external and internal presentations – Investor Relations, Rating Agencies, Board of Directors, and ad hoc projects
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and computer related skills (MS Word, Excel & Power Point)
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements include:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Preferably junior status as of Fall 2024.
- General requirements include self-motivated individuals with a desire to learn and contribute to the energy sector
- Ability to work in an intense environment with senior leadership visibility
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to last minute changes and prioritize effectively
- Strong communications skills – written and verbal
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- The selections of disciplines include Business & Communications
- Above average GPA 3.0
