Executive Protection Professional
Summary:
The Executive Protection Professional will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of Executive Residences by performing armed and/or unarmed protection assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Provide security related functions at executive residences.
- Perform counter surveillance operations.
- Assist with protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
- Manage requests focused to ensure all safety and security precautions are met.
- Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.
- Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise.
- Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Complete activity reports, incident reports, risk reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements as needed.
- Ensure security vehicles are always clean and operating safely.
- Assist with protection schedules and team assignments, as directed.
- Operate and maintain protective, operations, and communications equipment.
- Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Executive protection experience with high net-profile principals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective independent judgment/decision-making and problem resolution skills.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Concierge-level customer service skills.
- Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office Suite.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
- Regular computer usage.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
- Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Exposure to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area.
- Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations.
- Work in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Frequent sitting, standing and/or walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- On occasion, may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
- 24/7 availability.
