Primary Responsibility:
• Schedule terminal pipeline and/or truck movements to hit inventory targets and ensure fuel supply is available for customers
• Provide Supply & Trading team with metrics and reports that allow for business optimization; including contract analysis, forecasting accuracy, credit exposure
Daily Functions:
• Expense analysis: analyze distribution / logistics costs and create reports
• Actualize volumes for product movements (plan versus actual) for pipeline, truck rack, and waterborne movements
• Track product inventories and assist with inventory projections
• Monitor traders deals (bulk purchases and sales) and terminal sales to ensure inventory targets are met
• Review and manage logistics invoices and accruals as needed
• Interact with Trading, Risk, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Transportation, Sales, and Business System Support As Needed:
• Assist Commercial Operations team with daily scheduling and refined product movements, become proficient, and lead effort for specific product/location
• Prepare presentations (data tables, graphs, and business processes)
• Working with the team to develop tools (Excel, others, etc) to assist in inventory forecasting and management
• Position requires a strong set of interpersonal skills • Beginner ‐ Limited or no previous work experience/first Co‐op • Intermediate ‐ Some related work or volunteer experience/second Co‐op • Advanced ‐ Previous related work experience/final Co‐ op |
