Associate Analyst - Treasury
The Associate Treasury Analyst is responsible for preparing daily cash reports for review by the Treasury Supervisor. Other responsibilities will including supporting the Treasury Supervisor in monitoring of payment sources & local currencies, and preparing cash forecast reports, including analysis of debt, interest rate risk and investments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance of established cash flow models, analyze historical transaction data to estimate future cash flow and develop internal data collection procedures
- Support management in the preparation and coordination credit facility borrowing activities and schedules
- Analyze and report bank fees
- Assist in managing Energy Transfer’s debt portfolio, including revolving credit facility and senior notes. This includes rollovers/renewals, monthly interest accruals, payoffs and quarterly/semi-annual interest payments
- Assist in the management and execution of intercompany and joint venture financing activities
- Identify, analyze and implement process improvements, including resolving complex Treasury issues and integrating new products into the current daily process
- Prepare distribution schedules for Energy Transfer’s and joint ventures. Coordinate approvals, borrowing requests, and payment of distributions
- Prepare and communicate investment recommendations
- Assist in the opening bank accounts, establishing the associated services and documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant job related experience in Corporate finance, investment banking, Treasury operations experience required.
- Experience with midstream energy fundamentals and MLPs preferred
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and modeling
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Advanced PC skills to include strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
