Summary:

The Associate Treasury Analyst is responsible for preparing daily cash reports for review by the Treasury Supervisor. Other responsibilities will including supporting the Treasury Supervisor in monitoring of payment sources & local currencies, and preparing cash forecast reports, including analysis of debt, interest rate risk and investments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance of established cash flow models, analyze historical transaction data to estimate future cash flow and develop internal data collection procedures
  • Support management in the preparation and coordination credit facility borrowing activities and schedules
  • Analyze and report bank fees
  • Assist in managing Energy Transfer’s debt portfolio, including revolving credit facility and senior notes. This includes rollovers/renewals, monthly interest accruals, payoffs and quarterly/semi-annual interest payments
  • Assist in the management and execution of intercompany and joint venture financing activities
  • Identify, analyze and implement process improvements, including resolving complex Treasury issues and integrating new products into the current daily process
  • Prepare distribution schedules for Energy Transfer’s and joint ventures.  Coordinate approvals, borrowing requests, and payment of distributions 
  • Prepare and communicate investment recommendations
  • Assist in the opening bank accounts, establishing the associated services and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related discipline 
  •  0-2 years of relevant job related experience in Corporate finance, investment banking, Treasury operations experience required.
  • Experience with midstream energy fundamentals and MLPs preferred
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and modeling
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced PC skills to include strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
