Analyst - Wholesale Accounting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with AP account reconciliation/account research within the cash team on case by case basis as needed.
- Reconcile EFT drafts to Vendor Remits
- Investigate any differences between drafted bank statement and vendor remittances
Analyze and provide support for fuel items that have been drafted but not entered into accounting system to another department.
Upload charges to vendor and Inter-company, daily activity reconciliation of inter-company account
- Prepare documents to pass on charges to our dealers and distributors via our AP upload process.
- Complete daily blackline tasks
- Assist with Ad hoc requests as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 – 5 years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate PC skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- Effective verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
