We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Senior PeopleSoft HCM Analyst to support and enhance our PeopleSoft HCM system, focusing on the Payroll and General Ledger modules. This role requires a proven ability to quickly learn and navigate complex systems with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
This position is on-site in Houston, TX, and requires full-time office presence—remote or hybrid work is not available. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
· Configure, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft HCM with a focus on Payroll and GL.
· Identify and implement system improvements to drive efficiency.
· Partner with HR, IT, and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend technology-driven solutions.
· Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
· Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system functionality and optimize business processes.
· Lead testing efforts for system updates, upgrades, and new implementations. Ensure successful deployment and adoption.
· Work cross-functionally to align system capabilities with business needs, providing guidance and training to users as necessary.
· Support for other PeopleSoft Human Resources modules may be required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, specifically Payroll and GL.
· Strong knowledge of PS Query, system configuration, and reporting tools.
· Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new systems and processes independently.
· Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system issues.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with other ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
· Experience with International HR and/or Payroll a plus, but not required.
· Knowledge of ADP tables and configuration a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
· Usually, normal office working conditions.
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
