TEST District Manager - Abilene - Crude Trucking
THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN ABILENE, TX
Energy Transfer - We are one of the largest Master Limited Partnerships with one of the most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States, totaling more than 71,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, natural gas liquids and refined products pipelines, traversing 36 states with associated terminalling, storage and fractionation facilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage Maysville District trucking operations (trucks, drivers, and station facilities).
- Manage overall HES performance and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee Area supervisors and truck drivers.
- Manage operational and capital budgets.
- Accountable for controlling costs by managing expenditures and improving productivity and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure facilities are maintained in accordance with Energy Transfer standards.
- Strong interface/support required with the Marketing Manager and Crude Representative.
- Interface with the Houston scheduling group on a daily basis.
- Accountable to the lease group for customer service/support.
- Responsible for all hiring and disciple for Midland District.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor's degree in a business, financial, technical, or transportation field or equivalent experience
- 8+ year’s operations and management experience in crude trucking or other over/off road trucking operations.
- Must be adept at coaching and developing supervisory talent from within the existing ranks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have strong PC skills.
- Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the assigned area.
- Must be able to main valid driver’s license.
- On call 24/7.
