Supervisor - Measurement
Summary:
This position will
provide work direction and technical guidance to associated Measurement direct
reports.
Essential Functions:
- Provide work direction and technical guidance to associated direct reports. Coordinate the maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, installation and inspection of measurement, communication and control equipment within area of responsibility to insure compliance with AGA, API, GPA and FCC requirements.
- Provide project support and/or management during the installation of instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
- Submit recommendations to manager relative to technical improvements, budgets, and manpower requirements.
- Assist manager in preparation and managing of CAPEX and OPEX budgets for area of responsibility. Insure asset base is being maintained in accordance with all applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA regulatory requirements, company operating procedures and contractual requirements.
- Requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with customer and technician base.
Essential Requirements:
- HS Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- College or technical trade degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree.
- 8+ years related measurement and/or supervisory
- PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
- Knowledge of measurement programs.
Preferred Skills:
- 3 + years industry related communications experience.
- PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Gas chromatograph and NGL measurement knowledge and experience.
