Summary: 

Eagle Point Terminal is a large oil and gas storage facility the receives, stores, and transports crude oil, refined product, and LPGs via pipeline, docks, rail, and a truck rack.  The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance and PM programs necessary to keep the Eagle Point Terminal operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.      

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of Energy Transfer Employees and contractors to implement and continue to improve the maintenance program at Eagle Point.  
  • Works closely with Operations, Scheduling, and Engineering to ensure the facility is operating efficiently and meeting the needs of our customers. 
  • Plans, organizes, and supervises all maintenance work within the facility, including small capital projects (Typically <$500k).
  • Evaluates, trains, and develops staff as needed.
  • Leads the safety culture at Eagle Point.
  • Manages maintenance budgets and expenses
  • Ensures safety, productivity, and cost efficiency remain priorities in completing work assignments.
  • Maintains liaison and coordinates work with other support groups and other operational areas. 
  • Must use SAP and other company programs.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills with ability to make recommendations to manage and drive projects through to completion.
  • Responsible for emergency response, as well as, compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (DOT, MTSA, USCG, FRA, OSHA, NJDEP), industry standards, and internal standards and procedures.
  • This position will serve as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the facility.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills& Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience in field operations.
  • Knowledge in oil and gas terminal operations. 
  • Must have a TWIC and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • ~40% Normal office working conditions and 60% of the time spent in the field.
  • Field work includes exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must live within a 30 minute commute.
