POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the daily activities in a corporate facility office environment, assisting the building manager on many office/building related items, including work order requests to coding and processing invoices. This involves knowledge of essential business knowledge and customer service skills. This position will responsible for managing employee and vendor’s request/s as well as working on a team environment that encompasses all of the corporate services department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Primary front desk coverage at main corporate office location
  • Responsible for backup support for two office building locations each within miles of each other.
  • Assist department manager with day to day operations of three office locations and interface with vendor and employees
  • Familiarize with the mailroom essential duties in order to provide back up and in-office of shipping manager requests
  • Ability to handle all employee, vendor or upper management requests in a high traffic office environment

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 - 4 years of experience.
  • 2+ years of Building Facilities Office Knowledge – preferred
  • OfficeSpace or Similar floor plan software Knowledge  – preferred
  • Basic Excel Knowledge – Formulas, Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro – Basic knowledge to edit and compile files
  • Customer Service Skills  

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  •  Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
