Coordinator- Scheduling
- Responsible for using the latest inventory management and scheduling optimization software.
- Effectively match demand and delivery resources of proprietary manpower and equipment and / or common carrier.
- Responsible for the replenishment delivery decisions that are based upon economic analysis and input from proprietary terminal management and marketing organizations, which requires strong teamwork skills.
- Participation in simulation exercise as part of the interview process and evaluation.
- Answer Customer and Driver phone calls for order and shipment inquiries.
- Responsible for various administrative functions related to the position such as diversions, end of day reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 0-2 years of experience
- Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
- Good analytical and prioritizations skills.
- Strong customer service skills, high level of dedication, ability to handle multiple priorities and be effective in a constantly changing work environment.
- Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
