B Operator

Daily rounds- checking all pumps and equipment for leaks, checking pressures, gauges, charts, all drums and buckets and sample cabinets, valve positions (open and closed)

Unloading trucks at unloading areas- (red dye, gas additive, led additive, etc.)
-
Processing paperwork and samples from trucks (checking for water)
-
Recording line samples (understanding flash, distillation, vapor, octane, etc. and what the min/max are for each)
-
Tank farm- knowing what products go in each tank, pulling samples and draining water, gauging
-
Pipeline line ups at header
-
Knowledge of Unit operations, Rack, G3, Card Readers and Pipeline transfers
-
Perform Line-ups at process units- for start-up and shut down, slop bottoms, venting, bypasses
-
Daily outside process readings, exchanger pressure and temps
-
Pumping operations - Transferring products
-
Gauges products transferred to/from tanks and pipelines
-
Performs tank to tank lineups, switch and pump tanks as required to move products in/out of storage
-
Performs tank inspections and prepare records as required
-
Routine and ongoing daily inspection of facilities (fire extinguisher and trailer inspections)
-
Sample tanks for testing
-
HS Diploma or GED
-
Experience with bulk fuel storage and pipeline operations is a plus
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
-
Ability to work outside in various climates and conditions
Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solving skills

Ability to multitask within department for instruction and direction

Excellent communication skills
