Assembly Lead
- Schedule work flow for subordinates based on production requirements to minimize production disruptions, equipment failure, downtime, and corrects any unsafe conditions.
- Ability to provide the following:
- Site safety – The lead will ensure that high standards of safety re being met in area of responsibility and keep all employees aware of dangers in work area. Insure all safety issues/concerns are addressed with HR/Safety Director for solution.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to provide accurate and helpful information concerning area of responsibility.
- Ability to communicate and resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner.
- Assists in administering performance reviews for subordinates and administers disciplinary action when warranted.
- Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes.
- Maintains adherence to company policies.
- Performs a variety of complex tasks.
- Ability to perform “hands on” duties as required
- High school education (GED)
- 5+ years experience in compression related assembly or field environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read tape measures and rulers in increments of 1/16”
- Basic Computer skills, Microsoft office and/or any other software requested by department
- Basic mathematic ability to add and subtract fractions, decimals and whole numbers.
- Must have basic knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the assembly department.
