Summary:

The Analyst - Fleet supports purchasing, assigning, and transporting new vehicles.  This position also entails the management of Telematics data and requires a great deal of focus to detail.  The Fleet Department manages approximately 8,000 light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks as well as trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for assignments of new vehicles and redeployed vehicles.

·         Work closely with dealers and third parties to coordinate initial title and registration for new vehicles.

·         Responsible for supporting the ordering all company owned fleet.

·         Responsible for tracking and communicating order and upfitting status to internal customers.

·         Responsible for coordinating vehicle transport.

·         Responsible for maintaining all Telematics data and user setup.

·         Responsible for reviewing and responding to Fuel Exception Reports.

·         Responsible for adding trailers and equipment to database.     

·         Perform a variety of duties requiring use of independent judgment and technical and analytical knowledge.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

·         Work with all levels of personnel within Operations and engineering (O&E) and other departments to furnish and obtain information, resolve problems, etc., concerning aspects of assigned duties. Timely and profession customer service is critical for this position.

·         Work with confidential information, such as personnel changes and personal employee data. 

 

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

·         Previously had 2-3 years of automotive fleet administration or mechanical service experience.

·         Software knowledge requirements: Outlook, Excel, and SAP a plus. Possess the ability to learn new software products.

·         Proficient professional communication skills to deal with situations under stressful situations. 

·         Ability to work in a professional manner regardless of the situation.

·         Must have good time management and highly organized to have the ability to deal with high volume of data.

·         Must be able to perform multi-task operations with frequent interruptions.

·         Must be able to demonstrate the capacity to be self-motivated, handling multiple projects with little supervision.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
