Summary:
 

This position is responsible for updating and maintaining company assets through the use of the Computerized Environmental Management Software. Duties will include, but are not limited to: managing the location, asset identification and environmental task scheduling to ensure timely and accurate reporting; working closely with Environmental Specialist and Operations to ensure data validity; providing reports as needed; and other duties as assigned or required.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and data entry support for the Environmental Compliance Group.
  • Prepare environmental reports to various environmental agencies.
  • Data entry and the running of reports out of the Company’s EH&S software systems.
  • Provide training to Operations personal on the use of Company’s EH&S software systems.
  • Provide and analyze data for the creation of Company environmental key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance documents are filed in Company’s document management system.
  • Assist with emission calculations of various Company assets.
  • Assist with invoicing and check requests.
  • Audit Company’s EH&S systems for completion and accuracy of data.
  • Generate reports as needed out of Company’s EH&S systems. 
  • Serve on the Corporate Incident Management Team (IMT) to assist with Data Collection and Integration into the Incident Action Plans
  • Assist in the reformatting of Facility Response Plans
  • Mailing correspondence and packages.
  • Copying, scanning, filing, and management of electronic documents.
  • Assist in preparation of operating and capital budgets.
  • Required to safely operate a vehicle.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Essential Requirements:
  • High school Diploma 2 to 5 years relative experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional administrative skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer savvy, Microsoft Office Suite consisting of Word, Excel, Project PowerPoint, as well as Adobe.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Interpersonal skills - high degree of interaction with a variety of groups from field construction personnel and internal personnel (engineering, operations, management). Team-oriented and self-directed. Has the ability to be proactive rather than reactive.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree
  • Experience in the environmental field or with EH&S software systems.
  • Exceptional administrative skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer savvy, Microsoft Office Suite consisting of Word, Excel, Project PowerPoint, as well as Adobe.
  • Valid driver’s license.
