Summary

The Sr. Analyst - Systems Support will oversee the daily/monthly/annual requirements of the project system.  In this role, there will be an emphasis on process innovation, data integrity, and system design and automation.  

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain new and existing cost centers, companies, class codes, and budget items in the project system
  • Maintain approval flows in project system in accordance with Energy Transfer’s approval matrix
  • Provide assistance to field and/or management on the project system (new or existing access needs, document management, general training, etc.)
  • Approval queue management (lingering approvals, stale projects, delegated approval)
  • Maintain reports and records for current budget year
  • Develop custom reports as needed for budget and forecasting
  • Interface with internal IT/Accounting support teams as needed
  • Serve as back up for other systems analysts
  • Miscellaneous system administration duties and reporting
  • Special projects, as needed

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Information Systems or other related area or additional equivalent experience, and at least 5-8 years of related experience and training.
  • Proficient use of Excel, pivot tables, and the manipulation of large amounts of data
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient organizational, oral and written communication skills required
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to apply judgment, and professionally challenge and question activity and assumptions
  • Some travel potentially required.  10% or less
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 
  1. Usually, normal office working conditions
  2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
  3. Occasional overnight travel may be required
  4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
